We would like to invite the community to break fast together on the blessed day of 'Arafah (the 9th of Dhu'l Hijjah) insha-Allah on Saturday, November 5 at 6:30 PM at Masjid Annoor.  MCK will be providing dinner, insha-Allah (this will not be a potluck as previous e-mails suggested).

Abu Qatada (Allah be pleased with him) related that the Messenger of Allah (peace & blessings be upon him) said, "Fasting the Day of 'Arafah (9th of Dhu'l Hijjah) expiates for two years, one prior and one forthcoming." [Reported by Muslim, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i, and Ibn Majah] 

Insha-Allah, Imam Rafiq Mahdi will share the virtues of this blessed day following Maghrib prayer.  Henna design will also be available for ladies and girls after dinner!
